I judged him in Arkansas a few years ago. He was only a little over a year old at the time and sometimes lost his concentration, but still placed 4th out of fifty or so. He is a big, strong powerful hound with a lot of control and a good voice.

I'm only relaying what was said on better beagling web site about him. Absolutly no hunt stood around the gallery till they worked a hare up.

I had a littermate to Tuff. She had tons of hunt. Too much hunt. So much that she refused to leave the brush. Everytime that I hunted her I had to leash her and pull her out of the woods. I even put a E-collar on her. When I stimulated her she would sit down and not move. Very Ignorant if you ask me. Either way I would have to go get her. She didn't last long in my kennel. She could run a good rabbit, hunted hard but very stupid.

John,
I think I read somewhere on Branko's website that Tuff was gonna be in Ohio for stud for a short bit, my best advice would be to talk to the very ones that know him the best, the Krpans. Joe Truxillo had him for a while in La. I would say he could help you out too, I dont have a number for him, but I am sure someone could help you there.

Don't always believe what you hear as I have personaly seen this dog run.I would never repeat something I just heard by word of mouth.I will only say what I saw with my own eyes.Sincerly, haredog
