I have a hard rock female getting ready to come into heat and looking for information on what type of cross to make.
Pedigree looks like this
..........................Able's East coast trimmer (IFC)
.....................Jack of all trades (FC)
..........................brankos close call girl (FC)
...............Branko's Hard Rock (FC)
.........................Branko's Heli Prop (IFC)
.....................brankos Freckled
.........................Branko's Pretty Freckles (FC)

Hard rock female-
..........................Little Cedar River Shorty (FC)
.....................Black Creek Little Man (FC)
..........................Crafts Country Muffin
...............Brankos big maxie-
.........................Trakarab Pacesetter (IFC)
....................Branko's Pacer Becky (FC)
.........................Branko's Proper Lady (FC)

I have thought about breeding to a Sy son and mixing some old blood for a fresh start?
I have though about breeding to a Hard Rock son and doubling up?
I have looked at Linebacker blitz?
If this was your bitch how would you breed?

I am wanting information on what type of cross to make "not free stud adds".
Thanks, Duane

Duane, I would get in touch with Fireman1428 on the board here and breed her to Murray's Beethovan. He is a direct son out of Heli-Prop and he is in Mount Sterling, Ky so he is close to us.

Thanks Chuck
Do you know what is on the bottom side of this hound? also do you know how he runs, would he be our style of hunting?

Duane,
Go to the General Services section and look under the post Heli Prop Son and you can see his pedigree. Beethovan is a litter mate to FC Murray's Little Blazer. I think all the dogs in that litter made FC except Beethovan if I am not mistaken and Beethovan was hit by a car when he was young and ended his trial career. I think I am right on this. Contact James, goes by Fireman1428 or call him at 859 582-9690 and he can tell you all you want to know about him. That's who I am going to breed my Calie bitch to when she comes in. She is full of the old Branko blood and has Jack Of All Trades as great grand-dad two times on the top side and as the great-great grand-dad one time on the bottom side so the pups will have Heli Prop as the grand-dad and Jack in the 3rd,4th and 5th generations.

I would find a grandson to Hard Rock that is well bred to breed her too. You cant go wrong with the Hard Rock line. I have a 10 yr old bitch out of Hard Rock and she is one heck of a producer. Been in my kennel since 7weeks old and I always knew she would die in my kennel. There are a few Hard Rock males or grandsons under the general service board. Good luck

I have found a Reggie son and hardrock grandson that looks good, the owner stated that I could watch him run before I made up my mind.
Thanks, Duane

Is this dogs name Lady? If so I used to own her, I breed her once and also had a pup out of another litter. Here is what I know....The stud you use has to offer this----Very hard hunt, Lack alittle nose,Very smart, clean mouth and a stud that has alot of punch. Lady throws a very good nose in her pups. Not trying to tell you what to do, but Jimmy Abshires Junie dog has what you need he would be the perfect crosses with Lady. If any ? about the other litters out of Lady call me.

Mike thanks for the info that you gave me over the phone. I hope that you get your pup back from her previous cross. I can only hope that my pups turn out like yours did.

My female will be breed to Murray's Beethovan this month. I ran with this hound the other day and he is what I am looking for in a stud dog. His hunt, checking ability, mouth, brains, foot, pedigree and looks will go great with Lady.

My bitch was breed to Murray's Beethovan this past week. The first day they were together was April 3rd, when should the pups be do?
Murray's Beethovan is a direct son of Heli-Prop and with this breeding these pups should make some great ones.
