Just a few words about FTCH Brankos' Kisser; My buddy Geoff Montgomery owned her and finished her (he bought her as a young hound from Branko), and I ran with her every week for several years. She was one of the nicest running bitches I've ever ran with. Pretty small for a 15" bitch (maybe 13 1/2 or 13 3/4"), but she had a big heart. We ran her one night with my two big strong 15" male FTCH's McBride's Iron Scooter and McBride's Iron Buddy. We spent the entire night listening to then pound a hare from maybe 6 in the evening till 8 or 9 am the next morning. I went to catch them, and saw the hare with the three hounds driving hard close behind. They were all in a tight group and when I downed them, Kisser fell over on her side, exhausted, and couldn't stand up when I put the lead on her. I had to carry her out of the bush. She'd been running on adrenaline and sheer heart, and she earned a place of deep respect from me for that night's performance. In the years I ran with her, I never saw her make a serious mistake, and she could straighten out a double back, or solve a tough check. A super clean bitch and one with a lot of rabbit running ability. I'd be happy to have one like her in my kennel anytime. Terry McBride

FC Wright's Jumping Molly came from Wright's Bandit who was Buddy x Kisser & Wright's Harking Holly who was Big Jo J x TE Bones I believe. I think I saw somewhere Molly has produced 6 FC's.

Terry, thanks for the story.
