Just looking for info on this line of dogs. From what I can tell it was not line really but there are some really good pedigrees on these dogs according to titles but you know what I think about titles. Anyway, does anyone know anything about these dogs.

Alabama..Woodstock Granppy was owned by Fulcount Kennels in NY. http://members.tripod.com/fulcountkennels/pappy.htm

I have been told he was a great dog. We have 3 of his grandpups. Friends of ours have one of his sons...and say he is a real good rabbit dog. 2 of our 3 are from that son. Wish I could tell you how our 3 are...but they have yet to given the chance. I know the people that got the other pups from the friend that were in the same litters as my 2 are very happy with their dogs....both the hunters and the pet owners.

Thanks Deb. I believe these pups are granddaughters if him or possible great grandaughters. I'll have to look. I am going to call again today and set it up to buy them. I know 3/4 of their pedigree and that was the reason I was going to get them but just wanted info on that part. Thanks again.

My whole kennel is based is based on Granppy. These pups tend to start early, a lot of hunt, more check ability dogs then run the front, they will stay where they are suppost to. Although have seen some that can get competitive, but not the majority. For being black and tan they have the bottom to stay all day in the hottest of conditions. Not perfect but they can move a rabbit. Let me know if you have any other questions. Yours in sport. Sean
p.s. Granppy is double bred on Elm-line Bimbo(j-wal)

You don't have to remind me pete. I think there is enough southern blood there to override it. The Dam of these pups has FC Woodstock Grannpy in two crosses within 4 generations. IN fact, I think there was a 1/2 brother/sister cross. I'm gonna give it a try and if they are to cold nosed, which their mother is not supposed to be, then I'm sending them to you. ;)

We have a 3 yr old male that is a grandson to woodstock granppy. We have only had him for 2 months now and he is proving to be a great rabbit dog. He is out of Ranger Dan and Fulcount Misty. We also have 2 pups who are brothers that have Woodstock Granppy in their lines and they are only 4 months old and already starting to come along strong. We take them out in the woods with the 3 yrs old. They have a lot of drive in them, hoping they keep it up as they get older.

Ok, I took your words on this and bought three pups. The mother was almost all Woodstock and Fulcount breeding. I will say that these pups are some of the best looking pups I have ever seen but looks don't run rabbits. They have two and a half months to prove their worth or they are going to VT to live with Pete. I figure my culls are better than them snow dogs anyway. lol

Swamper...all 3 of my granppy grandpups are nice looking dogs. Though like I said before they have not been given a chance to run. Asked my nephew once to start running and hunting them and got told "Aunt Deb...if anything happened to them I could never face you again...NO!!" But if they could run as good as they look I would be in business!! ;)

Yes Sean, it is Sniper. He is awesome. I love to watch him and listen to him run a rabbit. We also have his son out of Mountainview Blue Jazz.
