I want to say WI, not b/c of his name, but someone from MI who bought a pup from me said he bred to him (I think it was GB Shooter). I'll try to find out for you.

I've run with alot of Ranger Dan dogs and haven't seen any trash runners. That line is known for nose and hunt.

I don't know a lot about Ranger Dan but I know of one personally that was difficult to break off deer. Maybe the owner didn't know how but he finally sold him. I know of another that was reported to be difficult but I understand that he was finally broken.
In regards to Greenbay Shooter, go to the Better Beagling Board and do a search. There was a thread on there a couple of weeks back. The owner or some of his relatives were discussing Shooter.

As far as being trash runners I've know alot of dogs of this cross and seen alot of stuff out of Ranger Dan and I would say on the average the Ranger Dan stuff probally has fewer deer runners than most lines.. I do know of a few that like deer but very few... Tell me a line that will not run trash with 100% success rate? Good luck in your search.. Dave Martin
