yes Eagle hunts very hard and has good foot would consider him fast. I had him and his brother here in Indiana a few years ago before Eagle made Field Champion. His brother was probably faster but had more mouth than Eagle and Eagle was definetely a better check dog. They were both well built 15" hounds and his brother blaster had to be put down by my vet because of an eye injury. Eagle has pups placing all over from the South to the Midwest, and Also Canada. Give Dexter a call he will tell you about him. He and his brother both ran with power and could dominate. Hope this helps.

My opinion both are throwing good dogs.I have a 10 mth old out of Rabble that is very nice.I have started several eagle hounds for Dexter that are dandies! Got 1 of my favorite females breed to Eagle and have a breeding planed for a big Northway female to Rabble just as soon as she comes in.I personally think you want go wrong with a pup from either Eagle or Rabble, good luck and make it fun.

I've got a one year old female out of Rabble and a 4 month old female from Iron Eagle. I like them both. Of course I can't tell a whole lot about the 4 month old yet.

Lynn can probably tell you more than I can but I'd say my Rabble female is a 7 on a scale of 10. I haven't started my Iron Eagle pup yet. She just turned four months so it won't be too long.

Rabble Pup

I just got a pup off of Rabble and Kelly Girl. I really do appreciate the contact info. My fiancee has been going to field trials with me and she also went hunting. Not carrying a gun but carrying a video camera. She really enjoys the hunts and the people. She has been wanting a dog of her own so I researched it and took your guys advise and went and got this pup. He is really a nice looking pup but the way she is it is with me for life so I hope he is at least a decent rabbit dog. ha I definately hope he has the foot. Well take care and see you guys around.

Will Manson, glad to her you got you a pup from rabble.I was the one who raised Kelly girl. She is from my Buzz saw dog and female i bought from Dexter many years ago,out of Northway Ninja.I also started her for dexter, pretty nice hound.Did you get to see Kelly Girl? Ever see a female with her size and still have that good of conformation, with ears that about drag the ground LOL Hope your pup makes you a good one.

Guest i would say that most of the slim jim pups are just now hitting the ground at Dexters, probably don't have any old enuff to let go yet.

Hey Lynn I really like the little dog. He has good long ears and is really nice looking. My fiancee has gotten him ruint though. Brought the dog home Sat. By sunday she was letting him out in the back yard to do his thing and he was coming to the door and scratching to come back in. I usually bring them in for a little while to get them used to me. He had to go to the kennel yesterday. He is in hog heaven know. Really nice pup. I look forward to meeting you sometime, I saw your website. Would like to hook up and run some time. I will definately try to make a trial your way in the fall. If you get a chance take a look at my pedigrees online. The Pine Mt Gracie Bitch I own. Sometime in the next year or so I am wanting to take her to something I think will be dynamite. She has the hunt and the speed, biggest fault is lack of mouth. She gives it when its hot hot but a little too tight. Her pup is the Krissy dog I have listed and she gives plenty of mouth. Her father came from Rufus Stewart and he was probably the fastest dog I have ever seen run a true rabbit track, and hunt that is a cross that definately works but want to keep my options open. Well take it easy Ill see you guys on here or at the trials.
