I had a female out of Northway Black N Blue. She was nice full 15 bitch. I tried to get her bred, but missed her. Dexter Reffett got a litter from her and Tally.

Voo was probably the best pin point jumpdog with extremest hunt around. Could go all day long everyday. Jump Dog Jump Dog. He set the mark for alot of people when evaluating a hard hunting male...... Owned by Rufus Stewart = Pine Mt Beagles.
Only dog I use to feel sorry for because Rufus use to hunt him everyday and the dog was a scab where he wore out his hide on the briars.
Rufus has some young dogs out of him. Not sure what else is out there. As Voo was a relatively unkown for most of the beagling world.

He did and Voo would. He was a dog you didnt go up and pickup. Rufus use to pick him up by the scruff of his neck. I came close to finding out one night luckily rufus actually thought enough of me to warn me....LOL

I hunted with voo all his life and until the last couple of years of his life rufus was the only one that could pick him up. I seen voo get snake bit and it take rufus 20mins to catch him,voo would get glazed eye and all he knew was rabbit. He was one hell of a hound.

I too judged Voo in a cast , mid day very hot, He jumped rabbit and got snake bit but would not quit, had cast won easily but Rufus caught him and scratched him on three legs. I got a grandpup out of Voo who I have high hopes for , probably will never make a dog of Voo's caliber but seems to have alot of grit for 9 months old.

A former buddy of mine bought 2 13" females sired by Voo doo. I think it was his last litter. He said the dogs fought and killed dogs they didn't like. He traded them to me before he told me about their problem. One was shy, one wasn't. I gave the shy one to another buddy. She did not run for him but he says she wasn't shy with him. He gave her back when she killed one of his old dogs. The one I kept was okay but I gave both to a kid that wanted dogs but didn't have much money. A week after owning them, he was looking to get rid of the fighters. They almost killed one of his dogs. Their names were Pine Mt Ethel and Skittles.

I own both Sport'n Wood and Devine's Powervac. They were born 8 days apart out of the same sire, FC Great Bear Woody, and two different bitches. Sport is out of FC Doney's Dogriver Foxy Moxy and "Hoover" is out of Cast and Blast Dixie.
Sport has three wins and 17 other places, he likes points to finish for his championship. He's been shocked off deer. He is clean with his mouth, sometimes to a fault, doesn't cold trail, and is very quick on the line. He can get a little loose in the check, but not as loose as many heavy bred Northway hounds, remember he has placed in Pennsylvania Small Pack trials. He stands at 12 7/8.
Hoover has tons of places. He has come close to winning a few trials but hasn't lucked out at the end. He will run a deer, though the last time he had a chance he stayed with a rabbit. He is tight with his mouth, but if hes on the front you know he's saying it. He stays very close on the check. He stands at 13 1/2.
Both of these hounds will be 5 in April and have been gunned over.
