gunsmoke
I have some gunsmoke in about 9 of my hounds. But it is back a few generations. The gunsmoke that I have is: Gunsmoke Blue Buck III, Gunsmoke Blue Cry Baby, Gunsmoke Blue Dixie, Gunsmoke Blue Lady IV, Gunsmoke Blue Rowdy II, Gunsmoke Blue Sadie, Gunsmoke Blue Sally, Gunsmoke Bluetick Dolly, Gunsmoke Redtick Buzzsaw
Their speed ranges from fast to slow. Some have chop mouths and some have bawl mouths. Side ranges from 13" to 10"
But one thing for sure, they all love a rabbit. Everyone of them has that "got to get the rabbit or die trying" attitude.
They are all bluetick except for one that is red. Some are blue and some just have ticks but for the most part they are blue hounds.
You can see them on my web site.

Let me know what lines you have.

Hey spark i tried to e-mail you didnt go through though. I'm sure this would be the sister to my buddy's dog .She turned out to be a really good little dog, more foot than some of this line has. Send me your e-mail again and ill keep in touch w/ you . If she is a good dog maybe we can swap some pups around.
Ronnie Albertson from South Mills, N.C. has some dogs from the Gunsmoke line. I bought a pup from him summer of '02 and couldn't be happier. She has Gunsmoke Blue Stoney top and bottom, Gunsmoke Blue Bonnie top and bottom, Gunsmoke Blue SmokeyII (Stoney's brother) etc. in her ped. She started quick for me and has a bawl mouth like a coon hound.

Hey glad to see more people happy w/ this line of dogs.look and see if your pups grandfather isn't gunsmoke blue corkey. If so the father of your pup came from me.Ronnie and i have been swapping dogs for a while now.Ronnie said this male was producing really good pups.If you would be interisted in helping to keep this line going give me a shout. There are several of us swapping pups around to help keep the pups in running peoples hands. As you know its hard to keep them all at least this way you have a better chance to tell what you are producing. There is going to be at least two or three litters coming up soon and i hope to have one before winter is over, myself . These will be out of dogs that have already proven there ability to reproduce.
Hey Beagleman my email address is http://www.sparkey243@aol.com or http://www.grizzly6004x4@aol.com. The female bluetick i have was born on 6/22/00...I will be gunning over her this saturday as it is opening day for us. I just bought the gyp few months ago so this will be her first real test under the gun with me. I have been running her twice a week since i bought her and she is getting better, i dont think she was ran often, and she was just off pups when i got her, so i got her in hunting shape now and she has energy to burn and getting better each time out as she was really rusty or wasnt run enough to get her right... but this past saturday we went running with about 4 other dogs and she was running across a 300 acre corn field to get to another hedge row as the other dogs were walking slowly after 4 hours of running. Her mouth is the only thing that i could complain about as she has a tight mouth and will not open until the rabbit is up and hot and has a scream chop that is easily picked out but not that bawl that i like to hear but i am a meat hunter and she is a rabbit hound, so since i dont trial she will stay until she passes. I look forward to hearing from you.
Hey Beagleman,
Gunsmoke Blue Corkey is her grandsire and KeeterBarn Blue Smokey is her sire. I had to do alot of talking to get Ronnie to part with her because she was one of two he was wanting to keep for himself. I saw you weren't too far from him so I kinda thought you might have heard of him. Small world isn't it? You can reach me at <bound2ramble@hotmail.com>. We can talk more about those upcoming litters.
Thanks,
BiL
