I watched this hound run many times. He had the hunt that it took to jump rabbits in a part of the country that does'nt have many. He had the stamina to do it all day long if you wanted him to. He was strong medium fast in my opinion. He was one of the best all around hounds that i've been in the woods with. He was injured at a young age, which handicaped him a little, but he would still go on three legs. He is 11 years old and owned by Wayne D. Gross of Jackson, Kentucky.

I own KINGWOOD'S T REX.He will be 12 years old March 22,2005.He is just a old pot licker now but will stay till he dies. His off spring went to gun hunters.I've had him since Aug 1995 and the longest any male as stayed here. His hunt was extreme and stamina was all day and ready the next. His speed was 3 0r 4 back in a pack in the mid-west trials about a good medium fast.He broke is front leg when he was young and that finished his trialing.I talked a few times with AL Winkler and he said the only reason I had REX was he didn't have that extra step to win in the large pack or i wouldn't have never got him.I'm glad he didn't,because he is the best I've owned. But the credit for owning him was Dan JaQuay.

Yeah he is still breeding Rex. I finally saw Rex in person several months ago and he looks real good to be his age. Ive owned and ran with Rex pups know for over seven years. One thing for sure is that he throws the hunt. I have yet to see a pup out of Rex that doesnt hunt.
