The pup is a female and I hated to see her go > But you can't keep all of them. I will be breeding my female again this fall. I had her out today for the second time since the pups and she was out having a ball chasing bunnies. There seems to be alot of rabbits this year should be a good year.

hope so deerfield, but that was what i said last year and it was one of the worst running season i ever had up to spring and it seem like they come out of the wood works.

I sure hope your right this year. Rick suppose to come down at the end of July or the first of August to run some and let me tell ya it's gonna be hot. The humidity is bad already in these parts. We maybe doing the early morning or late evening runs then, cause i can already see it taking it's toll on my hounds when i run them everyday.

Hey Guys, I have that pup from Sam. She is a great pup, a real ball of fire. She explores everything, nose always down, outgoing & as friendly as you could ask for. I have a feeling she may be something special. I am grateful to Sam for getting her here. I will let you know how she progresses. Mike

When are you going to come up this way? We have a pile of cottontails to chase.

deerfield i hope to soon someday, Rick told me i could stay in his cabin while i'm there. i know i would sure like to run some of them bunnies up in that area.
i have had alot of good folks come from all around to run with me here and i told a guy who came to run and breed to my Major dog last month that one day when i get all my ducks in a row i'm gonna load the dog box and the hounds and drive around and visit all you fellers and run in your spots with ya.
so keep me on your list of invites for now deerfield until i can make it up that way, and as always your welcome to come and run down here anytime. i don't know if you are thinking like me but i want to see how my hounds fair in that colder weather, and you can see how yours do in the heat if you don't know already.

P.S. If ya run into Rick tell him to give me a call when he gets some free time to talk hounds.
Thanks
