hey rosewood the bluetick female sired by grch emmons blue streaker is morning star blue queen. she is 7 years old the guy i bought her from raised one litter out of her he breed her to a red and white male out of morning star blue buck which is sired by greenwood jo jo.he said they all were running good by 9 months old his freind got a bluetick female and he really talks her up.i have raised 1 litter out of her and rebels last chance they are 5 moths old i havent had them out in the feild yet just been yard traing them on tame florida cottontail rabbit they shight chase it and can find it with there nose some they have a lot of hunt and seach and are full of energy and fire.they are all blueticks 1 female and 2 males.i have her breed again to a gunsmoke redtick buzzsaw male she is due to welp on thankgiving.her speed is med hi to low end fast her hunt is strong and hard she works the track real hard pretty good jump dog above average to me.the only thing about her is she hangs up on the hard checks a little to long after the other dogs get to the check and are gone she will finally leave the check and start running the track again and join the rest of the pack .on a hard check i would say she works the check 20 to 30 second long than she should after the first dog in the pack finds the track and has the race going again.i dont hunt her much but around or near the house because i dont want her run over or anything to happen because i want a redtick male out of her.i would say she is a great little rabbit dog. you can veiw my website at http://rockycreekredticks.tripod.com/ talk to you later bobby f brewster jr. rockycreek redtick kennels.

Yea,

Corkey is a good one. I have to say he throws some good pups. They are good gundogs and about as blue as anything you'll find. Beagleman I just got another one out of Corkey and Jenny. Her name is Polly.

blueticks

Post by beagleman24093 »

Hey rosewood, glad to see you getting bk into good dogs. Is this the second one of those you got, out of that cross. If you decide to breed them Bill in ohio has a male from Jenny and his old rch. male that can really move a rabbit. And he really has good conformation too.Funny thing, goes to show how same dog can produce different. The dogs from Bills cross can fly, from corkey they were slower. He is wating on (tiny)from marvin to come in now. This is as close to jenny as he can get.I'm waiting on the blue lady bitch to come in to . Would like to get her to tennese to the bluetick down there . Buy the way,how is your patch pups doing?

Doing good. Maybe we'll see what a lemon patch looks like hung on the back of one of those blue dogs. That will probably be the only time he sees the back end of a blue dog. Give me a holler we will try to go hunt some.
