Bernard is owned by Jim & Greg Hughes of Coshocton, Ohio. I have an 8 mo. old pup out of a grandson of Bernard and a Fire River Michale female, she can run her own rabbit or she can run with the big dogs.
To old to cut the mustard, you can always run beagles

Bernard

Bernard as A started pup was A hard hunting birddog style hunting dog who as he matured became an above average strike and jump dog. He all ways had plenty of speed and ran with good line control The only times I have ever seen him get to wild is when the other dogs became crazy then he would get crazy along with them . I gun hunted with him when he was A 1 year old and ran dogs with Jim and Greg for years we all belong to the same club. He can still hold his own with most any thing you wont to drop him with there must be 200 pups out of him scattered around this part of the country. A lot of them or field champions and grands in ARHA Little Pack A few or running UKC. and ARHA P.P. with some success . I would have to say he is one of if not the best dog in this part of the country.
The view is all ways the same from behind.
