Latimer's Shaker

Post by Shady Grove Beagles »

Pretty sure Jim Latimer from Ky. owned and studded him.I can remember seeing him advertised in Better Beagling years ago and could probably find him if I wanted to go dig through my 20 years worth of B.B.mags.
How was he bred? Got a pic.?

Roger or Donnie Goforth tuned him in after someone almost blew him up in large pack. He became a near perfect running hound, He dominated South KY one year & I don't think I've seen many dogs look better than he did that day. Shaker was also a good looking, well built hound. Black blanket & dark head with white trim; no ticks.
