World Pedigrees Help

World Pedigrees Help

Post by semeru »

Hi
I am the person responsible for the beagle data base on the World Pedigree site and I would like to introduce myself. I am Jane Millar and I live in Australia on a 2000 acre property. My dogs although basically shown in confirmation but I am also very proud of the fact that they show good noses and are very keen when on a scent.

I would ask that you people would help me out by letting me have pedigrees of all your hounds. I can't afford to be paying for pedigrees and so have to rely on the generosity of other people sending their dogs details. By doing this you will also make the data base more complete and will allow others to find more information when they try to trace their beagles lines on the site. The best way to forward me pedigrees it to scan them and email the result. I have no fax machine so the only other way pedigrees can be sent is to my snail mail address. This and my email address are on my web site below.

Also I know this is a huge ask but I an trying to find someone with AKC stud books who may be willing to scan the beagle entries and send the to me.

I hope that this is approprate for this forum.

Many thanks.

Jane,
I know and see all the work you have done for us beaglers. It is a huge job you have taken on and not charged us a dime for your research. For this we are all grateful and appreciative.

Ok guys you all are recieving long and hard research from this gal for free. Please help her out with what ever you can for her services are really great!

Thanks TC for your kind words but I think part of the credit has to go to those kind people who have helped me out in the past by sending there hound's pedigrees.
I appreaciate it very much but would love some more.
Your girl is rather nice.

Jane,
If I type them on a blank pedigree form how much information do you need on the sire and dam? Do you need their AKC #'s or colors? I have several that I could send you, but I don't have a lot of information other than the names.

Pete,
Where possible I would like as much information as you can give me, such as rego nos date of birth and colours. However if you don't have these just send the pedigrees without them.
Many thanks

will you ever have the site to where we can put in our own pedigrees ourselfs. I have several hundred pedigrees here at my house, but that took me a while to load on a old site and now that site is no longer running (http://www.on-linepedigrees.com)

Ley me know if we are able to enter our own pedigrees and I could start doing it after work late at nite.

Thanks,

Firstly a huge thanks to those who have alraedy sent me pedigrees.

David, I am so sorry but I have to add the pedigrees myself. Do you have a scanner? That way you can scan in the pedigrees and send then to me and I can add them myself. I am trying to make this as easy for everyone as I can. I am happy to do all that hard work

James thanks for your kind words and all the help you have given me in the past.

Recently requested pedigree from Bev. Behm, couldn't get one due to AKC trying to rip us off again by not sharing stud books. Will not pay AKC that kind of money for pedigrees. Will support your site and ask others to do so also. Thanks again

the akc is riping us off by no longer publishing the stud books.they are trying to get a monopoly on pedagrees by saying they cant afford it.who are they kidding.we all need to voice our displeasure to them.
