Gunsmoke breeding

What can you tell me about Gunsmoke bred dogs?Speed,hunt etc.

Gunsmoke breeding goes back a good ways.What dog or dogs are you wanting to know about.Tadpole,Blackjack etc?In general they are medium to medium-fast in speed with good line control.I really like their speed and aggressiveness.They do well in arha pp competition.

oakhill,,,,,are you gonna have any pups out of dream,,,,,,and is your chipper a gyp or is he a stud dog,,,,,,

Dream will be having pups in the spring. She was in heat about 3 months ago and I will breed her when she comes in again. Chipper is a 9 year old female and has two gyps pups that are going to be three wks old on Friday. One is a choco tick and the other is a bluetick. They will stay here cause this may be her last litter. Chipper is the first bluetick I ever owned. I had only tri's before her and she has been a great gun dog. Smokey one of my stud dogs is out of Chipper and Buddy. Cindy is also out of Chipper. Dolly is out of Dream.

There is an older gunsmoke line that Jim Byram used to breed that re blueticks and some redticks. They had good hunt and search,
