I own a 6 year old male out of the Rob Diamond II and Thorn Gap Bad Jack. I have owned him for about 1-2 months and he is the slowest hound I own. Got him to train pups but pups are to fast for him. So I am going to say speed comes from another side. My male is for sale for 100 and he can jump and run his own rabbit AKC registered and handles great. Just can't run with what I have. Hope I helped you some they hold a line andare a slower type hound is what I have been told.

kevin,,,,,, that is what i have alway thought but never really heard nuttin about them this pup has branko's tall grass hank on the bottom and that is where i think he picks up his speed, but man can this pup run a rabbit, he runs a line like he is sucking it up with a vacum cleaner with alot of foot , i just seen this pup run a rabbit down a blacktop road yesterday evening for about 50 yards and not a one of my other 5 hounds hit a lick on the track till it ran into grass, now this tells me he can run a pretty good line heck i know the black top had to be hott,,but thanks for your info,,,,,,,,,
you can take a kid out of the country, but you cant take the country out of a kid
