Pretty heavy line bred “Hank's Jo-jo Blue”. The few I have seen are medium speed with good line and good hunt. Mostly all were bluetick or redtick. If you haven’t yet, go to this link: http://www.tickledbluebeagles.com/hounds.html

I've owned the ole boy since he was a pup. He is past 10 now. His pups have lots of energy and hunt. Most are what I call medium to upper medium speed. I have some of his daughters that are really pretty fast. All they want to do is jump a rabbit and then try to catch it. He puts ticks on everything either red or blue depending on the female. He is line bred CHB Hank's Jo Jo Blue bloodline. His pedigree is on my web site. http://www.tickledbluebeagles.com

These are some of the best looking redticks i have ever seen! Make you sure you check out Chipper! Can't wait to see them run. If i'm right your looking at pups out Chipper? Go watch him run! Haave been told by several guys that he is super tough, solid med to upper med, line control freak.....

Danny, how is Bo doing? I keep waiting to see you put him up on your web page?

Where did those Redticks come from way down the line? None around here at all. East Coast Canada.

Rebel's Last Chance(the last son of Cypress Creek Rebel II) was raised by C.L. Holland who owned Hooper's Rusty Nail. Rusty Nail was sired by CHB Hank's Jo Jo Blue. Rusty Nail was a redtick. His son Cypress Creek Rebel II, redtick, was the sire of my dog Rebel's Last Chance. C. L. gave me the only known photo of Rusty Nail and his son Cypress Creek Rebel II. It is posted on my web site.

CHB Hank's Jo Jo Blue was mostly Pearson Creek bred with some FC Wind Creek Limbo blood also (I think Limbo produced over 150 field champions. One of his grandsires, FC Yellow Pine Lucimbo by FC Wind Creed Limbo and out of a daughter of FC Wind Creek Limbo, was also a grandsire of FC Blurock Hobo. I feed lots of dogs to keep these bloodlines going.

Rebel's Last Chance has puppies from coast to coast and all between.

Steve,
Bo is doing fine. I want to cross him into some of Rebel's blood. They may be wound too tight. The only way to know is to "do it". I have some pups sired by Ky Reggie and out of my daughter of Jackpot that are wound pretty tight.

I have never trialed Rebel. I haven't run him since he was about a year old. He's impossible to replace so I don't take chances with him. I have had beagles for most of my 64 years. I just enjoy raising them and running for pleasure. I rarely field trial in ARHA/NKC only. I have a 12 acre enclosure in front of our house. I can sit on the front porch or in my office while running. We run in the swamps during season when deer hunting will allow. The area where I live is over populated with deer and poisonous snakes. It's hard to run in Winter because of deer hunting. In Summer snakes are really bad. We lost a rat terrior to a snake about 2 weeks ago. I killed a 6 foot rattle snake in the driveway just a few feet from our house. I am afraid to run in my pen now because of snakes. If all that's not bad enough, coyotes are everywhere. I lost a son of Jackpot to coyotes about 2 years ago I think right here at home. He was running on our property with 4 other dogs. I fell and hurt my hand. I came back. Later the other 4 dogs came in and I've never heard from him again. They were running in the hills where I think the coyotes den. I saw a pack of coyotes running a doe Monday crossing our lane. They were about to catch her. Yes, ole Rebel stays in the kennel along with several more that I won't turn loose.
