HI again Tim:
I dont know how far your neighbor wants to travel, but I know of two around coshocton and cambridge. The first is Walt Hummel he is in west lafayette oh.off rt.36 near coshocton.Walt has started pups for me and he takes the time to watch them individually and when he tells you what kind of start the pup has it seems to be very accurate.Walt can be reached @740-502-6585 or 740-622-7659.Walts son Dave is our U.K.C. state rep.The other in cambridge is Paul Powers, who is the field trial chairman of the A.K.C.club that I belong to,although I have never had any of my pups started by Paul yet,I will say that he has many years of knowledge and has bred many FC's over the years along with partner Bob Lawson.Paul can be reached @740-432-5016 and Bob can be reached @ 740-439-3160.Both of these men live in cambridge oh.
Hope this helps: Vic

Can't say much for the first guy, but Paul and Bob have too many of there own dogs to run and as of last month couldn't keep any rabbits in there running pin. I know they havn't started any pups for close to a year now. Paul and Bob also belong to the same beagle club I belong to and are two fine gentelman. They charge $75 to start a pup. They charge you that if the pups is there 2 days or 2 weeks. However, they get them going really fast by running them with one of there old dogs and then by them selves.
There is one more in Flushing Ohio. Her name is Dorthy Kid. She is cheap but take for EVER to start your pups. If you would like her phone number let me know and I'll get it for you. I know it takes for ever for her to start pups b/c when I was out running dogs with Pual and Bob this Feb. Mar. I had asked them if they would start a pup for me and they said no that they didn't think they could do the pup justice. So that's when I called Dorthy Kid. I took the pup down there in March and she still has the darn thing. However, she does worm and treat the pups if anything come up with them. For 35 dollars she can't make any money just from feeding and worming them. Good luck get a place to start your pup.

Thanks guys. I was looking for something closer. I read that Don Rahe has one at Hillsboro, so that may be the best option for us.
