jimmy,,,,,,,i dont strive for a front runner,,,,,,id much rather have a dog that could run 3rd and take control of the line and work it through a bad check than i would a fast front runner that over shoots the track by 30 foot and babbles till he blows the race,,,,,,,,,

so i dont know what your referring to here


Do ya really have to have the front ? Give me one that is chopping to beat hell running in second . Let first place bobble , second just smacked his as- for him . Speeds like a pretty girl its nice but not always effective. I am figuring that much out .

Jeff nothing to you What i am saying is i fill comfartable 2nd or 3rd in pack . So many want speed speed and more speed . I am not in any way pointing my finger at you . I can take 4 generations of solid line running dogs and totally destroy it in 2 more generations .Now do you agree to that ?

true,,,,,,like i said id take a 3rd place hound that can solidly hold a track and never break down before i would a screaming track blower,,i agree with you on the line breeding,,,,,

Folks, you cannot lump all "Northway" hounds together. IFC Northway Driver was one of the fastest hounds of his time. Al Winkler himself to me that Driver was "as good as it gets". I have owned hounds directly off of Driver, Spur, Jumpmaster, and Ninja. If you want a front end hound, go with Driver's offspring and some of Spur's had it also, it depended on the bitch. Ninja and Jumpmaster's offspring you can keep for the most part.

I have a Northway/Branko hound. On top he is Heavy Branko on the Bottom he is Heavy Northway has Driver up close
