I would like to see pics. from anyone that has a sheet metal feeder that is mounted to where you can add feed from the outside of the pen and it does not take up any space in the pen.

Thats how i did mine , i have the horse panels instead of wire , and i took some small cable clamps and drilled holes inside the feeder and mounted them to panel , then cut the panel in front of the feeder , works excellent . never have to egt in the pen . only pic i have .Since this pic i bought a 15lb feeder and mounted the same way to the gate in the middle pen

Nice I really like this. Will do it on my next one. I mounted mine to a platform I built and and screwed it on each side from the inside of the hopper.

works real well , very sturdy mounted to the panels

Thank you , all advice has been helpfull. I ended up using a platform for a base , and screwed it from the inside to 2 runners on either side.
