My New Above Ground Kennel..Pics as I build it Now COMPLETE

I started on my new above ground kennel this past weekend. It measures 4ft wide and 10ft long. I'm not that good at building things but I'm trying my best to make it as nice as I am able to.
I will be posting pictures as I build it. This kennel will be replacing the one in the background.
Here is what I have done so far.

I notched the oak 3/4 deep and the width of the board for the flooring. Oak is tuff to cut thru. They are space 1-3/4

This is 1x1 deck rail spaced 1-1/2 apart

I made some support pieces on the miter saw cut a 45 degree angles

I have worked on this thing for three days straight. Roughly 8 hours each day. Here is what I have so far as of 6-03-2008

This is a small storage compartment I built into the upper house.

I am going to keep a spray bottle with deoderizer in it. Also trash bags for waste. I can also put collars and leads in there. Behind that wall is another 20inchs of what I call shelf space also a nice spot to where a dog can lay on before going down the stairs.

here is the back view. I made a door so I can get into the house.

that ramp was a little tricky but I got it done.

self feeder still needs to be attached. That is where it will go.

now finished
