above ground kennel height

fixing to build some new above ground kennels and i came across some metal grid to use on the sides just curious what you guys think bout would 26" tall be tall enough the smalles ive evere done was 36" any thoughts would be appriciated thanks.

Mine are 24'' off the ground, and they work great.

im sorry i meant the inside height of the kennel.

I have one about that tall, I used chainlink across the top, fastened shadescreen on top of that and they chewed it up.
If you put a tin roof on, the heat will be closer to them. Those are the only two things I have against a low ceiling.
