New kennels

Post by hawkeyee »

This project took me over a month I worked on it when I could at one point I thought I had bit off more than I could chew I almost hired the project out but everyone I tryed to hire wanted more than I could afford I did get some help from a couple differnt friends at various times. Prayer & persistence finally payed off thank you (BushBound)aka Dave M. for your help on the spring loaded doors they work great I trained the dogs to use the doors with a C clamp. I found a 45,000 BTU propane unit heater on Ebay I will set the temp @ 45 warm shop for me and the dogs this was a good learning project for me.

Those look really nice...I am in the process of selling one of my Seneca kennels and bulding a 10 X 15 shed with boxes inside and runs outside....
Thanks for the pics...

I have about 500. dollars into these kennels & that is counting the flooring it is the black panel flooring & I think it is the best way to go for aboveground kennel flooring Tom Caroselli AKA:(Rabbit Fever) is the contact for these floors he will ship to your door. Most of the wood I used came from my old aboveground kennels there are still a few things to do outlets for heated water bowls ect.. in my mind this is a done project Now its time to hunt some rabbits!

Hawkeyee,
nice kennel,i have about the same setup and i'm very pleased with it. it sure beats wading through the snow to five or six different dog coups to do the feeding, and everything is stored right there that you need for the care of the dogs.it does take time to build but it's worth it.

i have some pics. on here i'll try to find them and bump them up so high ridge joe can take a look, maybe he will get some ideas for his project.

Thanks for the replys everyone I used a hard plastic poly flooring here is a pic the holes can be cut to a wider size or not I cut the holes on all the kennels but the one the pup is in I like this stuff better than the Scotts flooring I belive it is better on the dogs feet here is a pic.2x3 floor panel

flooring

Post by Rabbit Fever »

Hey everyone, the flooring panels are $17.99 plus shipping. These panels last forever, they are 2" thick corragated poly plastic. They are very heat and cold tolerant from 90plus to minus 40. If anybody is interested please call me. This is the best flooring you have ever seen! Tom Caroselli AKA Rabbit Fever 715-892-0027

I purchased these panels from Tom a few years back and have had zero problems with them, they are strong, durable, and easy to clean. The best flooring system I have seen! Kurt Robinson
