hey get ahold of chip eisenhut from charleston wv he sells the vynil coated wire for starting pens come in 150 foot lengths and is 5 foot with a 12 inch apron i have a buddy with this type of wire its lasting pretty good

Go with the little extra $ for the apron fence for confineing the pups and rabbits. Too big of a project to do it over later.

if U are going to watch the dogs when they are in the pen 20 ga. will be good but wild rabbits will chew out. dogs will to if left alone. I would go with 18 ga. save $ in the short run
