Kennel Flooring

I,m going to build a new above ground kennel tomarrow. and I was wondering if anyone has ever used the plastic latice. Lowes has some that has 1" holes and about a 1/4" thick, it is $26 for a 4x8 sheet . give me your thoughts please

I use it and don't really like it because: crap does not fall through holes that well, and, the snow builds up on it. What I do like is that it will last a long time.

works for me and alot of the crap does fall threw for me.

I have built two here recently and they seem to be just fine. The poop will sometimes hang up but usally falls thru in a day or so.

I built one using the plastic lattice, works good for me. easy to clean, lasts forever, doesn't hurt their feet. I recomend it. you can see a pic at

i just found a flooring on
http://www.swapinc.com comes in 2 foot by 4 foot pieces. I called and they redirected me to kennel solutions. each piece is 15 dollars. I think im going to give it a try. they say it will hold 600 pounds. holes are7/8 and 1.1 inch

i use it i have been for 2 months i like it you might have to scrape the waste sometimes but it's easy to spray down and even bleach if you need to . i would reccomend it . i have 2 kennels with it and some guys have seen it and they want to try it now . thanks tracy

I have the flooring like on Swapinc. If you can get the holes 1.1 get it the 7/8 sux. I have it, and it gets pretty clogged.
