vinyl wire & sore feet.

I have 2 dogs in seperate above ground pins.one is 5yrs. old the other is 6months.the older dogs feet aren't to bad.but i have heard of dogs being laid up because of sore feet.i don't want my pup to get the tender foot when she is in her prime in a couple of years.what is the cheapest & best way to solve this problem?i had 2by6's on the floor when i first built the pins but was hard to keep clean & sanitary in the winter months.any suggestions is appreciated.

I have the same set up and have had few foot problems.
Keep their toe nails trimmed, run them every week, you'll be fine.
Females fresh off pups and out of shape will get sore pads, otherwise...happy hunting!
