Kennel tops ? w/ PICS ** NEW TOP**

Ok,I have (4) 10x10 kennels, I had the store bought tarps on all of them. Well today in North Carolina we and some strong wind and it picked up one of my kennels and placed it about 75 ft away striking my house, I had 2 (4) month old puppies in the kennel they were not hurt. The others were just torn. I took the other tarps off. So Im looking for some pics of the tops on your kennls or ideas of what to do? I was thinking about a lean 2 type with tin on top. So what do yall think? please post your pics or Ideas Thanks!



Just wanted to show some pics of my new kennel top. Not a carpenter or anything but im happy so far. Also i would like to thank my Grandpa,brother,son,and friend for all of your help!! Its 12ft by 50ft with screening on the ground. Now trying to save money to replace the bent up kennels here are some pics.

I had nearly an identical view at my house today. Came home, dog running around the yard, kennel upside down and mangled.

Get some 18" metal rods, drive them in the ground and secure the kennels with 1/4" aluminum cable.

The old Kennel in Windy Hollow's Old and New thread had been up for 4 years before the same thing happened to it. Thank God I only had three Beagles at that time and they were in the house. They dont make those rails or the chain link like they used to.

I realy like that!!!!!! about how much did the materials for that run????? I like my outdoor ... on ground kennels but I need some shelter back there !!!

Thanks, I have about $1200.00 to $1400.00 in it. I havent did the total yet. But I tell you its alot better than what i had. You can do it cheaper but I went with the better tin, and the 2x6 rafters are 16 inch centers and I could have went futher apart.
