Metal poop slide under above ground kennel?

Post by PBJ »

I am in the process of building a new above ground kennel. It is 18 foot by 10 foot. My plan is to put metal roofing slanting to the middle to form a valley and then slant to one end. My hope is as the poop and urine fall to the metal it will be easy to clean to one side rather than scooping from underneath since it is so large. Has anyone ever tried this and how did it work?

i had mining belt under mine then got the bright idea to cover the belt with roofing tin well the tin didnt last no time it rusted out from the urin i put the same kind of tin on the roof of my kennell the same day i put it under my kennell now im gonna have to pull all the rooffing tin from under the kennell n dispose of it somewhere the tin on top looks as good as the day i put it down n its been 2 years but the tin under4 it is a disaster :loser: :loser: :angryfire: :angryfire: jb
