Looking for any ideas on a roof for over my kennel area. Anything from portable to permanent, I'm open for all ideas. I've been thinking of a slant roof horse shelter without the walls, which I would think would be somewhat cheap.

I built something like what your talking about on the end of my garage. I built it big enough to also park my boat. It is about 21'6"x24'. I think it cost about $1000-$1200, but I usually go overboard when I build. I go for strength and longevity. But I think that way will pay off in the long run. Good luck
