if i have a pup and an older dog but theres not alot of rabbits here and there are no starting pens near me what should i do

if you didnt have a starting pen near you didnt have alot of rabbits but had a pup and an older dog how would you train it just take it out with the older dog alot or what

go out and buy a few cheap rabbits and let them go in front of her or use a road kill on a string.

look around you should be able to find rabbits for 2 to 6 $ each. then let them go in front of your dog.

if the pup is about 10 months would a wild rabbit be too fast for it to sight chase

yes they can be to fast. let it go in an open area like a cut field or big yard.

most of the time i use the cheapest rabbits i can find.they do just as good as rabbits bread for pens.duchman are a good source.

i wouold like to do it another way without just buying rabbits and then letting them go but i also dont want a starting pen what should i do now

Just take the dogs out and walk with them and hope they jump a rabbit.

i dont have alot of rabbits here
