doc,,,,i got a male beagle that got a sticker in his eye,now i have cleaned it out with saline eye wash but it matted shut,,,,,,i took him to the vet and had his eye checked out , they pulled the eye lid back and couldnt find nothing, he gave me an antibiotic ointment to put in it, but it kept matting shut so last tuesday i took him back to have his eye scoped and still didnt find nothing, now will this ointment cure this or should i seek another vet,,,,this happened 3 weeks ago,,,,,,,,,thanks,,,jeff

You might wish to discuss with your veterinarian the possibility of referral to a veterinary ophthomologist as long as this has gone on. Doesn't sound as if much is changing with this course of action.
