Doc S,

Thanks for the advice on having an ultrasound done on my pup. The Vets around here were only giving me the option of an X-ray at 45 days. Had it done today ……False pregnancy was the conclusion.
By the way I was feeling pretty down up till the ultrasound idea. It was kind of a ray of hope. My Vet had rubbed her tummy for about 10 seconds then said pregnant and give me money.

Guess what ……………….. I also have a new Vet.

Thanks Again,
ED

Well, if she had a psuedo-pregnancy, then there is a great chance it will happen again. Mine goes about every other heat cycle with this. So that means (for me anyway) once a year having her bag out and start producing milk. According to what I read (if I remember right) she is at a higher chance of getting a uterine infection during that time. Anyway, just keep an eye on her in the future when that happens...

Good luck,
Emery
