No hare on either side of butt

My dog gets bare patches on both sides of his butt.I take him to the vet and they give him safe guard for three days in a row.It clears up and in about a month it starts all over again.I just got some dronzil plus hpoing maybe that will keep it away.Anybody else have any ideas

Wow...dermatology questions are tough when you have the dog right in front of you, but on-line???? I might wonder about an allergy? Panacur, in addition to being an excellent dewormer, also has some anti-inflammatory and possibly immunomodulating properties. Just a thought...
