kennel cough

Does any know how long kennel cough usually lasts and what is the best treatment? I have had my dog to the vet and he gave her some medicine but she is still coughing,it has been a little over 3 weeks any help would be appreciated...Thanks and GOD bless :D

Usually has to run its course, best vet can do is give a cough suppressant unless it goes into something else. I had a pregnant female had it about a month, depends usually on dog's health. Rest of kennel were over it in 2 weeks. Antibiotics can help if there is another issue with dog's health keeping him from getting over the kennel cough.

as soon as it runs its course your dog will be fine --just like a cough in people --same cough suppressant that U would use
ALWAY GO BY THE RULES AND NEVER A PROBLEM
