sore on front leg above joint

just wondering what i can do its from thickets and beans wearing on front of leg how can i cover this up or it will never heal

Might try TUFF PADS available from http://www.revivalanimal.com or have seen NEW SKIN used as well... there is alcohol in it might sting a bit, keep pooch from licking until dried. available at any drug store, walgreen, walmart...etc. good luck

If your sure that's what its from, I would clean it daily and smother it w/ bagbalm. I have 2 that get there ears tore up and it works for them, only thing is, you have to make sure you do it every day, otherwise the sore gets the upper hand and you start all over.

Do you run a shock collar on this dog? Some dogs by nature of the way they run whack their forelimbs against the collar. Have seen it many times. Also have seen dogs with arthritis in the carpus that will lick or chew on their front leg over the joint just as we might rub a sore wrist or hand unconsciously.
