i have 2 female beagles i keep in the house,yes i run them constantly.
one has a ,i dont know how to really explain it - hacking or cough like a cat with a hairball in its neck.
i seen many do this in my 50 + yrs but noone has said really what it is.
shes done this for quite a while, no ill symptoms, eats like a horse, runs the best, the other one also at times will also but not as much.
my outside beagles will do it now and then. its not kennel cough, keep em wormed good with drontal plus.
maybe allergies ?

Maybe allergies or something else in the house such as a plant or a type of cleaning solution that the dogs are exposed to. A video of the dog acting up would help.

thanks maine, i been giving her amoxicillin for several days now and it has helped her. yes a video would be great.
