Back problem?

Post by flatpick »

Hi Folks,

I have a 4 year old male that seems to have something going on with his legs or back. He walks with his back "humped up", and has some trouble with his rear legs. He doesn't like to be touched on the backs of his rear legs. No falls, or other trauma that I am aware of. He is eating, and drinking. He seems to be getting better slowly. Saw this Friday evening. If he's not considerably better by this evening, I'm heading to the vet. I know you guys are an excellent source for good info. Any Ideas?

Thanks,

Flatpick

sounds like he has a disk problem --BEAGLES are known for back problems --a lot of back trouble is cause by jumping off something --dog box--tail gate-etc. ---lay him up a couple months --give him something for pain
ALWAY GO BY THE RULES AND NEVER A PROBLEM
