are your using straw for bedding? I've recently heard of some kind of small bug or parasite that will live in the straw that could affect your hounds. Also ,Thinking that the straw may even have been the problem with my Skip dogs jaw. The dog can get small splinters in their mouth from the straw ,that will fester and cause infections. Just something to consider, good luck Jake.

Jake i was thinking the same thing, it could be something going on with the bedding. Could be mange mites from cats laying on the straw. Alot of the time farm cats aren't the cleanest critters out there. Also could be an allergic reaction to something in his food.

Sorry it's taken me so log but he was in straw then put in cedar bedding, that's what I was wondering he might be allergic to the bedding. I mitt try putting him in a dog house without bedding and see if he gets better. Thanks guys

give him the Ivomec sub Q next month.....I always give mine subQ since i had to treat for mange about 5 years ago and have NEVER had an issue with any sores, mange, etc...good luck. let everyone know if changing the bedding works. Might want to watch the food as well....have you switched brands recently?

With everything being so wet, you need to change the bedding often. Put in new bedding(grass hay) and dust him with flower of sulfur, it is good to heal the skin and purify the blood. Terramyicn ointment for any eye infection.
If he's chewing and biting or scratching, you might have a dose of the flea or mites working on him, ivomec should get the blood suckers.
