Curious if anyone has seen these symptoms in a young beagle pup. Head tilt, poor coordination, small in size. I've researched some probable causes via Internet, but would appreciate any info if anyone has personally witnessed this. I have a female pup that is half the size of her litermates. She's been wormed, had her shots, and given a round of Albon. She has a healthy appetite and is very energetic.

I have seen these symptoms in Beagles that have MLS:
http://www.aladarbeagles.com/cbs.html
http://www.salenko.co.uk/MLS/
http://www.vgl.ucdavis.edu/services/MLS.php

However it could be something completely different.

I will agree that most hounds that I've seen carrying their head tilted to one side have had inner ear problems. My brother had a coon hound that had cronic inner ear infections that would continue to reappear. He was a big stocky redtick that you couldn't tell had anything wrong with him, ate like a horse, crapped like a cow, hunted and treed but would carry his head cocked to the side. Sometimes you could see a slight discharge but most generally not. One other thing obvious was he would get ouchy when it flared up. If he had a coon that you were trying to get free from him and touched that ear he would eat you up!
