I'm haveing a big problem with flea bites

Post by southerncomfort »

Hey guys I have a 7 week old puppy his hair is falling out and he has scabs on his skin. I have bathed him and used flea spray on him and it does not help. I tried used motor oil yesterday but it is not any better. I'm open to suggestions any help would be appriciated.
Thanks!

if you can see the fleas on the puppy blue dawn dish soap kills them dead better than any flea spray or shampoo i have found. I bath thwm in dawn adn spray the pen with soapey water and they are gone kills the live fleas but not the eggs, thats the only problem with it.

I don't think you have a flea problem, but a skin condition created by weaning and stress, the kind of bedding your using may aggravate or propagate the condition. At any rate, it usually takes a couple weeks to clear up so be patient and persistent with your treatment and cleaning of kennel.
Best of luck...
