Ken, I once posed the same question to my own vet which replied, that as long as the correct temperature is maintained, they should be good for about a year. However, I don't usually make a practice of it, as I am fortunate enough to have available a local dog supply store very nearby. The place doesn't look like much, but it is handy and handles the shots, wormers, etc. correctly and safely.

Well, that might change something. I really wouldn't know why it would but it might. I never mix the shot till I'm ready to give it. That's a good question but I'm not sure that I have a very good answer. I know as a paramedic we have pre-mixed drugs we carry that have about a years' shelf life, but again I'm not sure if we're comparing apples to apples. If it were me, I might be inclined to just use another shot, because for me at least I'm out only about $4.00 to $6.00 depending on the shot. Hopefully you don't have a whole batch mixed. Plus, I wouldn't want to give advice on something that I'm not totally sure about. Sorry, I guess I wasn't really much help afterall.
