Heat cycle question?

Post by pcable »

I have 2 females different ages, one hasn't been in heat in over a year, one almost a year. I was wandering if anyone has ever had this problem?
Really want to get some pups off these two but can't figure out what is going on. The older female was in heat last June or July and only bled 2 or 3 days
and stopped, the younger one hasn't been in for over a year. Any help or ideas would be much appreciated.
Thanks, Patrick

She may just have a light cycle. I have a female that will go into heat in the summer and not bleed at all but in the winter for her heat cycle she bleeds like crazy.

Heat Cycles can be irregular and can be light or heavy and shorter or longer then the "average". Some females only come into heat once a year. you got any friends who have females? if so when they are suppose to go into heat take atleast one of the females over, often when one female goes into heat the whole kennel of females may go into heat.
