Just curious, did the vet check them for cocidia? At 8 weeks my pups always have 2 shots. I give one at 5 weeks and the second at 7 weeks. I like the first to be while they are still nursing. An old man once told me it would be easier on their immune system if they were still getting some help from momma. I then give them the next after weaning. We have had luck with LA200 being given at 1/2 CC to help them pull out if they get sick. Good luck!
