first time with ticks

I need some info tick meds or repellants.

We never had tics in central Pa until a couple of years ago.I lost my best female to lymes last year.A guy told me about a product called Bronco,sold a tractor supply.Its a fly spray for horses.I bought it and its dirt cheep,just spray the dogs back,legs and tail before running.I also spray the inside of my truck box.Since using this I havent had a tick on any of my dogs.I also spray my chaps before hitting the brush,no ticks.

I use the frontline works really well put it on the dogs once amonth have not had any more ticks been useing it for two months know. The ticks are bad here in south Ky.Removed 20 off my cloths one trip out hate the little guys.
