Well I had a female have a seizure on me and it's kinda odd she is a year old roughly had her running good. She went into heat so I put her up when she came out of heat I took her out for the first time she was on the ground for maybe 10 mins jumped a rabbit made a half circle and went into a seizure.

When she dropped she had been running for maybe 15 mins at most. She shook like crazy then a minute later it was like a switch clicked on she jumped up and tried to get away from me to get back on the rabbit.

Anyone ever seen anything like this I didn't think it could be sugar she had only been running for 15 mins at most it wasnt the weather it was 65 degree's. I have had her loose a few times in the yard and havent seen anything else like this happen. Any clues or ideas lemme know she is a good dog I dont wanna put her down but I dont wanna keep one that could be suffering or have something bad she could pass on to a pup.

Had a bitch that had seizures just ever now an again , it could be sugar or epslespy (sp) . Only way to know , that I know of is through your vet , both are easy to control with meds . Don't think I'd even consider putt'n her down . Good luck

Have your vet do some bloodwork to determine what's going on.

I have a nice male that has seizures every so often. Normally not in the field, just when he is hanging around.

Bloodwork came back fine and vet's diagnosis was epilepsy. He said to monitor the seizures. If they start getting more frequent, there are different meds to try. The only downside is that the meds are bad on the liver.

I won't put him on meds unless the seizures get bad. Right now he has one every two to four weeks and they last 1 to 3 minutes...
