I have a 6-month old male beagle who has diarrhea and he has started trembling/shivering and seems to have trouble sitting or squatting down. He has been active and healthy up until today. He is fairly lethargic.

Is this a case of an upset stomach? Or something more?

I would get him to the vet right away. Does the diarrhea have a worse odor than usual. Could be parvo, but it's unusual this time of the year. Could be hook work or cochidia(sp), which is common in pups and young dogs. Trembling is a sign that something serious is going on, get him to the vet!
