I'm really new to this. Charlie is my 1st dog. He's about 18 months and has started shaking or twitching. I'm not sure if this is serious and if I should take him to the vet.

Could be epilepsy, a common occurrence in beagles. Another could be blood sugar levels. Have your vet check him out, many symptoms don't appear until after the dog is a year or older.
