Tail tucked?

My Female has been carrying her tail down and sometimes tucked all the way under for about three weeks. She has recently went through her cycle. Even when she goes to the bathroom she just moves it out a little or sometimes moves it to the side. The first time I noticed it I had fed the dogs a couple hours before running but just about 1 cup a piece. When we started running all dogs had to dump of course like normal but when she did she acted like she could not pinch it off good and I thougt maybe she just could not finish. Does not act like she is in alot of pain or anything else really, she still wants to go hunting. Any clues on what this could be? Do dogs do this if they have worms? Do dogs at like this if they get bred for the first time? Thanks, Paul

My female seems to be doing better cause her tail is up again. I wonder if maybe my young inexperienced male possibly got her in the wrong place when he got out when she was in heat. If not maybe he just hurt her tryin.
