I have accidently found that my little female is pregnant and I believe she will deliver approximately the 5th of April. One of my issues is that we brought her in the house and found that she has worms. Can I worm a pregnant female and if so what should I use?
I have never had pups and did not plan on these, although I think they will be great pups from two awesome dogs. Any advice on birthing and taking care of the pups would be appreciated.

Re: worms in pregnant female
Most wormers are safe for pregnant bitches. (Moxidectin/Valbazen can be exceptions.)
Give her a very strong dose of pyrantel pamoate (50mg/ml), at 1 ml per 5 lb, then do it again in 2 weeks.
Once that is done, give her 10% Panacur @ 1 ml/4.4 lb, twice daily, for 3 consecutive days.
This is a heavy worming protocol, but will help clear-out a pregnant gyp.
Then worm both the bitch and her pup with pyrantel every 2 weeks after they're born, until 6 weeks of age.
