my female was bred 26 days today. has not been eatin last 2 or 3 days. hunts good plenty of energy just wonderin if this is normal this will be her first litter.what is normal time frame till she has them.

Your ' bout 1/2 way there, 63 days is average gestation period of hounds.
As for not eatting, I'd take her temperature and check her gums/mouth.
Normal temp is 101degF in hounds. "Stool watching" is another nasty habit folks with hounds have, tells you alot of whats going on...

It takes 63 days to have them although I had one bitch that had them in 58 days and I know I didn't miss a breeding because I had her put up so I know when she was bred. A lot of females will loose their appetite for a while when they get around their third week of pregnancy but it should pick back up, mine always did.

todays the 29th day since they knotted shes still not eatin much. been runnin purty good up till past 2 days startin to act a little indepedent dont want to pack . i guess if i was knocked up i would have a few mood swings myself.
